About Us

Robert Geiger and Edward Franklin owned a successful café for nearly 15 years before relocating to Florida. It was there that they discovered the concept of Spin bread or the traditional Hungarian street food called Chimney Cakes and Kurtoskalacs at a food festival. Both miserable, working corporate jobs, they were instantly inspired to pursue a return to food service.

When they found a small storefront in High Springs, Florida they signed the lease on the spot. The rest, as they say, is history. Spins was officially born in 2019 by combining this old-world bread with traditional southern fares in unique and elevated “spins”. Today, the boutique café serves a wide array of authentic and creative eats from Sweet Spins to Spinwiches that tempt customers to keep coming back time after time.

What’s Expected Of Spins Franchisees?

Our potential franchisee list is a long one! Anyone who has the passion, skill, and interest in the Spins brand could be considered a candidate for our franchise opportunity. We believe this business can be taught to those who are motivated to learn.

If we had targeted groups, they would include entrepreneurs, former or current restaurant owners, former or current hospitality workers, managers from the business field, retail workers and corporate lay-off “victims”.

The best Spins franchisees will love good food and enjoy serving people. The number one quality we look for in potential candidates for Spins is their comfort level in management and their ability to get the most out of their employees.

The Spins brand operates on a consistently high level of integrity and commitment to service. Franchisees will be held to this strict standard and we will work only with candidates who have the attributes, interests, and abilities to become pillars in their community.
